Railroad Ties
Our railroad ties are designed to help take all of the “hard” work out of laying 1.5” scale track. Whether it’s a club or a back yard layout, our product is designed with the end user in mind.
Our ties are injection molded to the standard 16 inch length, which means no more cutting pressure treated wood to size. Each tie has molded in tie plates, essentially turning each tie into a rail gauge, no more crawling around gauging rail all day.
Each tie is injection molded out of high quality recycled polypropylene which helps us to keep our cost lower than the price of a pressure treated wood tie, plus manufacturer direct pricing guarantees the lowest cost to the customer.

Our premium rail joiners are made from ½” x 1/8” aluminum, cut to 4” length, and are run through a stamping die to produce the slotted holes required for expansion. They are sold by the box of 50 pcs.
Joiner screws: 10-32 x ¾ Stainless Steel hex head.Nut: 10-32 nylon insert stainless steel lock nut*bolts and nuts are bagged together in a quantity of 200 (you need four bolts and nuts per joiner)

For those folks who prefer wood ties, we also offer a tie plate that is made from a UV rated glass filled nylon.
Complete with proper cant, these tie plates are the perfect way to insulate your aluminum or steel rail from the corrosive properties of pressure treated lumber. They also add a more realistic view to your layout.
Our tie plates come in either black or brown, and we offer three different size rail base measurements: 11/16, 15/16 & 7/8.
